| Here's the spec's on the test machine running
Windows Vista. Mainboard is a ASUS P4B running
an Intel Pentium 4 1.6GHz, Intel 845 Chipset.
Memory of 512Mb 133MHz SDRAM. Video is a
ATI Radeon 9250 128Mb. Two drives, Seagate
80Gb and a Western Digital 160Gb. Two Linksys
LNE100TX network adaptors. Audio is supported
by the mainboard. This does just fit the
minium system requirements designated by
the OS. Also with running only 512Mb Memory,
it does not support the Aero package requirements. |

| Look for News
covering Windows Vista soon.
I have not
had the opportunity to look at
or use Vista.
Simple comment I can make at
this point
is that if you want to upgrade
from XP your
machine should be no older than
two years.
Otherwise buy a new system. |
